Schedule is the hot spot in the research of engineering,but also the key control objectives of making construction smoothly completed and put into use. project management is the management for progress of the various stages and the deadline of project. The person in charge of project always wants toget the shortest duration of the project through process optimization so as to achieve higher economic benefits. There are many kinds of preparation method in the construction project schedule, but there are some defects, so there comes major inaccuracy for prediction of large project duration and there are much deviation between the progress plan and the real things. Therefore, there is a need for a more scientific, more precise duration estimation method.In this paper, with the help of the theory of risk analysis and the method of fuzzy mathematics is applied to water conservancy construction project schedule management research, based on a comprehensive survey of the water conservancy construction project, the index system of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation for the water conservancy construction project schedule is established. Then this paper conducts risk assessment for each project schedule in the duration of the project activities, determines risk evaluation criteria, filters out construction period with high risk, so as to get the time limit set to meet the requirements of project risk; Based on this, through the analysis of the time limit set to meet requirements of project risk, meantime, by comprehensive evaluation of each period of duration of collection with the theory of fuzzy mathematics in construction project, this paper finally determines the adjusted optimal estimated duration.
