Accident Analysis And Safety Prevention Research On Railway Grade Crossing

The crossing is a weak link in safety production of railway transportation. Related statistics show that, the railway crossing accidents occupy large proportion in the accident, once that happened, always cause the car crash tragedy and deaths. So the main purpose in this article is to find the reasons and characteristics of railway grade crossing accidents, summing up the experience of the accident, and knowing how to predict it, put forward the scientific and effective measures to improve the safety level of the crossing, protection of people’s lives and property security, improve the safety of the crossing, reduce the number of crossing accidents, reduce the accident and mortality rate. The main content of this paper include the following aspects:(1) Introduces the research of the railway crossing accidents of domestic and foreign experts and institutions. Through consulting a large number of relevant information and literature, summarized and analyzed the research progress of railway crossing accidents at home and abroad, to grasp the basic characteristics of railway crossing accidents happened, the understanding of its research and development history.(2) To study the basic characteristics of railway traffic accidents, and in-depth analysis the definition, characteristics, classification of railway grade crossing accidents, in order to provide complete information for preventing level crossing accidents.(3) Sum up several kinds of typical accident cause theory. According to the characteristics of railway grade crossing accidents, to analysis the cause of the accident after a comprehensive grasp the basic information of the railway crossing accidents. Using the accident tree analysis, to analysis the cause of Heilongjiang”1.28” railway crossing accident, concluded that the main three factors lead to the accident: crossing the staff; motor vehicle drivers; safety protection device.(4) According to the particularity of railway crossing accidents, studied the effective measures to prevent the accident. Put forward the rail road crossing accidents tertiary prevention mechanism, in order to provide basis and methods for reducing the incidence rate and mortality of railway crossing accident.
