As a new type of motor developed in recent years, ultrasonic motor, has the advantages of simple structure, high resolution, fast response, no electromagnetic interference, and can work in a vacuum and so on, has been used in many fields. But compared with electromagnetic motor, the ultrasonic motor development time is short, the theory is not mature enough, the stability of the structure, material, working environment, more stringent requirements, design of driving system is not perfect, Aiming at some problems of ultrasonic motor itself, this paper designs a new kind of orthogonal planar ultrasonic motor. The main task of this paper:(1) Design the structure of ultrasonic motor. First of all,choose and analyze material of ultrasonic motor. The piezoelectric ceramic,which is used as the system energy conversion element, has very strict requirements on the working environment, and many factors can influence on its working performance. Through analyzing the influence factors, puts forward the solution, design the detection of piezoelectric ceramic, which is advantageous for the ultrasonic motor performance feedback.(2) Using of finite element method, based on the structure model of the ultrasonic motor,we can make mode degeneracy of the ultrasonic transducer motor. And based on the sensitivity analysis, to determine the frequency of longitudinal bending 21774 Hz. At the same time, using the finite element transient analysis of ultrasonic motor and using ultrasonic motor X axis motion as an example,through the analysis of ultrasonic motor sports,to establish ultrasonic motor motion equation, derive the ultrasonic motor driving foot points on the elliptic motion mechanism.(3) Designing driving power supply for the ultrasonic motor. Through the analysis of influence factors of working ultrasonic motor,design the frequency tracking system to ensure that ultrasonic motor can work normally when the working environment happens to change. To test the performance of the prototype of ultrasonic motor, analyzing of the impact of different input signals on the performance of ultrasonic motor.
