Kitchen garbage truck is a dedicated vehicle for kitchen waste collection and transportation, which with the function of solid-liquid separation and sealing discharge. The garbage is put into tank by lifting mechanism and squeeze and shirk by compression mechanism. The machine could avoid the secondary pollution in the process of turnover, and it has high efficiency and important application value in social life.The overall layout structure was analyzed, and the characteristics of the side- loading and rear-loading truck were compared, the side-loading kitchen garbage truck was selected as the study object of this paper. Lifting mechanism and compression mechanism of the truck were analyzed, and the main parameters of the working mechanism were calculated. The multi-stage telescopic hydraulic cylinder model has established with the method of a single-stage hydraulic cylinder cascading in AMESim, modeled and simulated the whole hydraulic system. Simulation results reasonably reflect the actual operation situation of working mechanism,and simulation model meets the design requirements.The joint simulation of working mechanism was built by CATIA and ADAMS software. The sensitivity of the lifting mechanism main articulated point force is analyzed. In the basis of the work needs were meted, the sensitive position of the point has been optimized, and the shock of the point were reduced, and the lift cylinder force to the smallest. The machine fluid coupling model of the lifting mechanism has been modeled, the disciplines of dynamic of the lifting mechanism in the working process were obtained, and validity and stability of the parameters have been verified.Compared the differences of single-stage and multi-stage telescopic hydraulic cylinders in the modeling and simulation of the compression mechanism in actual working process, acceleration and force curves has been obtained when the multi-stage telescopic hydraulic cylinder piston rod changes grade; and the affection of resistance on compression mechanism when the garbage is squeezed in the case of no-load and full load were analyzed. The limitation of the modeling inaccuracy which caused by unable coupling with the hydraulic system model and the dynamic model has been overcome by the joint simulation, the results show that the model satisfy the design requirement.
