Computer and information technology are changing people’s way of life. The whole society is gradually entering the Big Data Age in which data is everywhere and can facilitate everything. In the age of big data, the data is no longer plays the role of information statistics only, but could be used to predict and even change the future. Big data is large in amount and variety, they also have a swift processing speed. They could be used in all kinds of area. The arrival of the age of big data will also promote a lot of traditional industry transformation, and as a closely related area, digital product designing will be effected in the meantime. In order to provide more convenient function and intelligence experience, digital product designing needs to bring forth new ideas to comply with the age of big data.By analyzing the theory, features, historical background of the Big Data and combining with traditional digital products design, the paper used several methods to explore the creativity of the products design in the big data age. Then the paper advocated that the digital products should be designed with complete function, simplified appearance and recycle principle. In the end of the paper, a concept cellphone was designed to show readers how and how much the big data could affect the digital products design.
