Coal enterprises have their own power supply network, the daily production is mainlydepend on the electric energy, electric energy to ensure the exhaust gas, mine drainage,gangue, the normal operation of the system, the power supply is extremely reliable is one ofthe most fundamental requirements of the mining safety. Power grid lightning lead to blackoutaccidents, a serious threat to the mine life, good lightning protection network in mining area issignificant. As the power grid has a high demand on the reliability of power supply, this papertakes Shanxi Yangquan Coal Group Mining Area as an example, according to the particularityof the coal mine enterprises, research on lightning protection technology of Yang coal minepower grid.In this paper, based on field investigation in lightning protection, lightning protectionequipment use and know about the lightning accident. Then the field test analysis indexes inlightning protection, grounding resistance, soil resistivity, substation grounding resistance, theindependent arrester grounding resistance, capacitance current and the substation groundinggrid conduction test tower measurements. Then in the high voltage laboratory mine insulatorU50%impulse voltage discharge test, insulator overvoltage protection device matching test,insulator and insulation resistance test. Then through the theoretical analysis methodcalculation, testing and simulation, analysis to find out the special problems in lightningprotection exist, such as insulation level is too high, the lightning rod used improperly,combined over-voltage protector using lightning hazard.In view of the existing problems of Yang coal mine of lightning protection, lightningprotection measures are presented in this paper accordingly. The installation of adjustableprotection gap protection insulator on line optimization of mining area, insulationconfiguration, implementation of the protection of mine substation inlet line; removedunreasonable lightning protection devices, such as the inlet line tower lightning rod, combinedover-voltage protector; reduce the tower grounding resistance, the optimization of substation grounding grid.This paper discusses and studies the mountain west coal mine area, lightning protection,lightning protection problems found existing mining area, puts forward renovation oflightning protection measures, protection of Yangquan coal mine power grid safe and stableoperation of production, while other mines lightning protection research has many is worthlearning experience.
