The subgrade is an important part of highway, its quality directly determines the use performance and service life of the road. With the influence of natural environme nt and vehicle load, in the process of highway operation, it will inevitably be subgrad e condition all sorts of problems. For detection and evaluation on the subgrade conditi on, the traditional testing generally adopt the way of drilling and excavation of subgra de soil sampling, and then the collection of data processing, evaluation of the status o f the roadbed. Due to the low efficiency of traditional detection methods, the road da mage, and the difficult to application and operation of highway. With the progress of science and technology, the development of nondestructive testing (NDT) methods, gro und penetrating radar (GPR) technology has been uesd in the detection of highway su bgrade, and the technique can be used to detect the underground buried underground, underground hole, etc. And it has high resolution and high accuracy. Therefore, this a rticle will research on the subgrade detection method of ground penetrating radar (GP R) applications, and the main research results are as follows:(1) Based on the test requirement of ground penetrating radar (GPR) and opera ting road detection requirements, we carry out that the feasibility of GPR can be used to detect the highway subgrade.(2) Analysing the ground penetrating radar (GPR) to detect the effects of the pa rameters on the detection and based on the contrast test, puts forward that the ground penetrating radar (GPR) is used for highway subgrade condition detection parameters o ptimization configuration scheme. It effectively improve the detection effect.(3) Put forward the basic process of ground penetrating radar (GPR) to detect t he highway roadbed. First on a regular basis for highway subgrade by census and de mands rapid detection, data processing, data of the probe is finally committed roadbed inspection report on a regular basis. The ground penetrating radar (GPR) is used for h ighway subgrade detection of standardized management.(4) Aiming at ground penetrating radar (GPR) in layered media inversion interpr etation method, based on a large number of assumptions and test on the weighted pr ojection imaging after ground penetrating radar (GPR) method is proposed and the tw o layers of medium target of fast to the projection imaging method, and through the simulation experiment it proves that the proposed new imaging techniques to agreat ex tent improve the GPR detection precision and efficiency of highway roadbed. Applicati on of ground penetrating radar (GPR) involved in the detection of highway roadbed di sease as an example. It further verify the feasibility of ground penetrating radar (GPR) to detect the highway roadbed.
