Following the national economic development, the quality testing on the concrete structure is required more and more strictly in the city architecture, traffic construction and other infrastructure construction, and the non-destruction testing method has satisfied the need for its property of high efficiency, low cost and no-destruction. As two main no-destruction testing methods used in engineering, the ground penetrating radar and ultrasonic CT were mainly introduced. Firstly the basic theory and development situation in concrete testing of the two method were specified, then the forward modeling in testing cavity and fault in concrete. In ground penetrating radar modeling, the round and rectangular cavity as well as little rectangular fault, was designed to get the anomalous radar scanning diagram and wiggle picture; In the ultrasonic CT modeling, based on the ray tracing theory, the anomaly travel time was got, through the forward modeling on the cavity and fault, using the ray cross-hole tomography detection model. Then the travel time was tested based on the ART inverse algorithm and was compared well with the forward model through the inverse result imaging. Finally the effect of the two method were compared and tested through engineering samples.
