In recent decades China’s highway construction has achieved rapid development. With the increase in highway mileage of highway, pavement performance evaluation especially asphalt pavement evaluation is more and more important. Highway asphalt pavement using function decreases year by year, and even appears rutting, cracks, subsidence, cracking and other damage disease. This has seriously affected road comfort, and even affected driving safety. Therefore, the study of highway pavement performance evaluation is very necessary and meaningful.First, this paper introduces the research status at home and abroad for pavement performance evaluation system.And combined with the actual situation of China’s construction, it discusses the use of new technology on pavement performance detection.Secondly,the thesis analyzes and inquires the influential factors, evaluation index and evaluation criteria on the evaluation of highway pavement. Asphalt pavement specifications require the evaluation index and the evaluation criteria of pavement performance. Combined with the actual situation of Huihe Highway, the thesis studies the detection and evaluation of pavement performance.Finally, the thesis conducts a comprehensive evaluation of selected sections of Huihe Highway based on TOPSIS method,and compared with Norms index assessment results And then use Abaqus FEA software to evaluate mechanical properties of the pavement structure of Guangdong Hui River Expressway under standard axle load and heavy load,which verifies the accuracy of the pavement structure design. In this paper, the TOPSIS method is introduced to evaluate the quality of the asphalt pavement evaluation.We determine the weights of indicators with the subjective and objective combination determining weights method,which make the asphalt pavement evaluation more objective and accurate. This article provides a reference for evaluation of highway asphalt pavement,and its practical application is far-reaching significance.
