Research On The Landscape Culture Design Of The Overpass In Fuzhou

With the development of society, the city’s traffic situation also presents in a high-speed state, which becomes a problem that people have to consider. The appear of overpass provide a convenient solution to this problem. The widespread construction of overpass in different countries and cities do ease the traffic jam condition to a certain extent. Most overpass standing in the city’s major traffic arteries and interchange and strategic importance not only makes it a mostly linear graceful, smooth city a beautiful landscape, also makes it an important part of the landscape overpass urban landscape. With more intense urban land resources, the occupication of overpass in space of transportation landscape gradually caused people’s attention, but few studies related to overpass landscape culture have been carried out. Every overpass should have their own unique features, should not be same, on the premise of meeting the basic requirements of the overpass landscape, to show their unique local culture and characteristics, so that these two are blended to create a good landscape efficiency.15 overpasses within the three ring roads were investigated in Fuzhou, in order to understand the overpass landscape in Fuzhou more roundly and objectively in space utilization of landscape and landscape efficiency and cultural landscape construction, regarding the landscape ecology, landscape planning, plant landscaping,The results showed that:the problems of landscape construction about overpass in Fuzhou are as follow, firstly, the poor pre-planning; secondly, the lack of landscape varieties; thirdly, the low utilization rate of the landscape space; fourthly, the neglect of human’s demand; fifthly, the uniqueness of landscape’s regional features; finally, the poor management and maintenance at the later stage. Based on the analysis, proposed overpass landscape design should follow the five principles of functional, integrity, sustainable and ecological, people-oriented, regional culture. And put forward the specific strategies in order to solve the problems of current situation about landscape design, as follow as:focused on pre-planning, overall grasp and layout, increased walkways and improved traffic environment, rational planned the space of bridge area to improved space utilization, extracted regional culture and highlighted the city’s features, strengthened conservation and management. Finally, The main purpose of this paper was based on culture to design for Fuzhou overpass landscape according to the different types. By illustrating some examples, it was aiming to build overpass landscape that with Fuzhou’s characteristics.
