The laundry dryer, as a kind of large quantities of clothing fabric washing tool, in the service industry, such as:hotels, restaurants, guesthouses, hospitals, enterprises and institutions has been widely applied. It has greatly improved the efficiency of washing clothing fabrics and reduced the energy consumption of unit. Traditional washing, which has many defects such as low degree of automation, complex operation, the working process of the often need a lot of people to participate in and the lack of a friendly man-machine interface, is not easy to operate. Meanwhile the water level can’t be accurately controlled, the temperature is not stable and so on. These shortcomings will affect the service life of washing and washing effect.This paper mainly introduces the design of the intelligent laundry dryer. The whole control system is divided into two parts of upper computer and lower computer. The upper computer adopts Dwin Technology Co. Ltd DGUS touch screen as the carrier, which is in charge of human-computerinteraction. The lower computer uses COTEX-M3 kernel architecture of STM32F103 processor chip as the core and is responsible for the water level, water temperature, quantity of state detection, motor-drive and other tasks. The controller design is divided into two parts, the hardware design and software design. From the aspects of the hardware circuit principle, important components selection, operating system transplant, software design and debugging, control algorithm research and the human-computer interaction interface design, this paper introduces the intelligent laundry dryer controller design and analyses the related experimental data. Results show that the new algorithm and the control strategy adopted to laundry dryer brought positive impact on performance improvement, which made the washing speed more smoothly, the temperature control more accurately, so as to prolong the service life of the laundry dryer and improve the washing effect. Also, it increases the friendly human-computer interaction interface, greatly reduces the operating difficulty,so it has a good application prospect.
