Energy of high-power microwave(HPM) is so high that serious damages will be done when high energy is coupled into the internal devices through aperture in the cabinet. Therefore, the aperture coupling research under high-power microwave has been hot in the field of electromagnetic compatibility.Based on the principle of electromagnetic compatibility, an approximate model about infrared-guided missile is presented, including the model of missile cavity, infrared detectors and electronic circuit system. And the coupling through aperture and protection methods under high-power microwave are studied in this thesis. The electromagnetic field distributions in the approximate model are simulated with HFSS. The simulated results show that the coupled electromagnetic fields in the approximate model is strong, and the serious damages can be done in the internal device and electronic circuit system.Six special shielding structures under high-power microwave are designed and analyzed. It is found that the shielding effectiveness are affected by such parameters of the shielding structures as the diameter of cut-off circular waveguide, the space between the adjacent cut-off circular waveguides and the thickness of shielding film. The research results show that four of six structures have good shielding performance. Among them, the double copper nets with dislocated cut-off circular waveguide array and the structure combined single copper net using cut-off circular waveguide array with copper film have better shielding.
