Since the 40 s and 50 s of the last century, the information technology developed rapidly with the representative of computer. And has influenced the society greatly, abundant quantity of information, frequent information spread speed and resolve speed declare the humankind step into the information era. But the application of information technology in the construction industry is relatively slower than in other territories, the informationalized level is much lower than other industries. And has constantly change in works, delay in the days of constructions, and coordination with other professions and lots of other questions.As a kind of new appliances and construction methods, BIM implements the directly use of information technology in construct era. By the use of BIM technology, every aspects of the project could acquire information from the information model and add information into it. Nowadays the use of BIM in our country is still being a primary stage, and is applied much more in design phase than in construction phase. In deep foundation excavation project, the unpredictability of the underground engineering influences the project since the design phase to construction phase greatly. The underground engineering has an vital influence for the engineering quality as a kind of concealed work. Based on the stipulate of the norm, the measure points are arranged in particular distances during the formal geological prospecting, but because of the unpredictability of the underground information, it is usual to encounter with some emergency to result in the unpredictability of the construction quality and safety. And that affects the construction period and increases the construction cost. Therefore, the study of building information modeling of underground engineering has become a hot issue which is worthy to be focused on and researched.This paper is about the theory of information transferring in the process of BIM application by introducing the related theories and relevant BIM software. According to the function of the software characteristics, we could choose suitable BIM treatment scheme for deep foundation pit engineering. According to actual engineering case, we choose Revit to build the model, and choose Navisworks Manage to simulate the visualization of construction. Based on the model building of practical large deep foundation pit engineering cases, we target to solve difficulties existing in the model building. Then on the basis of construction quantity, we compile the construction schedule using progress auxiliary tool Microsoft Project, and simulate the model visualization of construction of BIM. Finally by the case of the progress of the simulation, we summarize the suitable application system and processing framework for deep foundation pit engineering. And comparing with the traditional construction management mode, we could propose the improvement to the existing construction management.Based on large deep foundation pit project processing management methods and management system of BIM technology, we can effectively reduce or even avoid the problem such as period delay, repetitive labor and low efficiency in the course of the deep foundation pit engineering construction. And it has important practical value for improving the construction technology and management level.
