Research On Construction Management And Quality Control Of Huanghe River Bridge In DE-DA Railway

De-Long-Yan railway is 588 km long and is a mainline of "three verticality & three horizontality" railway network in Shandong province. It is called the second East-West "Jiao-Ji railway". Huanghe River Bridge, which is the largest-span as well as the longest steel bridge crossing the Huanghe River, is a key engineering during the whole line, involving sophisticated technologies and construction management. The through continuous steel truss girder with variable depth is used for main bridge, and the "N"-type structure seems like a swallows that soar the skies.First, the paper presents the research background and significance of construction management and quality control, and reviews on the research status of this subject, and briefly describes the content and framework of the paper.Secondly, based on the basic theories of construction management including the contents, features and implementation, the program management, organizational management, economic management together with technology management are discussed for bridge engineering, and are further applied to the construction organization and management for the Yellow River Bridge. The organizational managements of bored piles, pile cap, steel truss erection and massive concrete are introduced in detail.In addition to giving a general introduction to the content and function of the quality control for railway bridge projects, the organization and implementation procedures, as well as the preparation, processing, checking and acceptance of projects are discussed respectively. In the practice of quality control management system for the Yellow River Bridge, three major topics involving pile foundation, steel truss erection and massive concrete are discussed.During the construction of Yellow River Bridge, the construction management and quality control have yielded highly desirable results and provide a good reference for similar projects.
