The multiple-valve of boom is the primary hydraulic control element of concrete pump truck, which primarily controls the motion of the boom and straight effect the capability of concrete pump truck. Currently, many researches imitate the others, and the level of production process is not high, and the quality is not good for the finally production. According to this we developed a new multiple valve for the boom based on the study item of Sany Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd.In this paper, theoretical investigation, numerical simulation and experimentation were used to investigate and design of multiple-valve. Through calculation and numerical simulation of AMEsim, the capability of the new multiple-valve had met the requests of concrete pump truck. Through experimental analysis, the capability of the multiple-valve had approached the overseas product, which had been done as follows:1.On the basis of analyzing the principle of the classical load sensing multiple valves, this subject will make study of a new multiple-valve integrated with technology of load sensing, positive flow control and LUDV. And demonstrates its response more quickly and energy-saving from the standpoint of the principle deduction.2. Design the key parameters of fit clearance、shape and dimensions of orifice、 curve of orifice area、spring rate and compression of spring-for every load valve、 compensator and 3-way flow valve.3. Modeling and Simulation. Firstly, the system of new multiple valve is modeled with every module. Secondly, the system of boom is modeled with AMESim software, and analyzes the characteristics of pressure drop equality, flow distribution and anti-saturation.4. Testing, including testing in the laboratory and installing the multiple valves on the pump truck. Analyze the characteristics of withstand the top pressure, flow of every piece, and leakage in the laboratory. Analyze the characteristics of flow distribution, anti-saturation and response.
