Study On Business Outlets Layout Of Railway Express Breakbulk Cargo

Railway breakbulk cargo transport has been restored after railway freight organization reforming, and railway breakbulk cargo transport will get unprecedented development benifit from the cargo express trains, so it is very important for railway express breakbulk cargo to make the shipper convenient and realize "increases with the increasing to do", and it is closely related to the business outlets layout of railway express breakbulk cargo. But in a certain area, it appears the uneven distribution of business outlets due to most of the current business outlets of railway express breakbulk cargo transport have been distributed on the railway line,and it is distributed sparsely in inner city,which makes it impossible to meet needs of all shippers,thus affects the overall service quality of railway freight transport. Therefore, researching on the layout business outlets of railway express cargo is very important to the development of railway express breakbulk cargo transport business.Based on problems of railway express breakbulk cargo, this paper expounds the connotation and development status of railway express breakbulk cargo, and it analyzes problems which railway express breakbulk cargo exists, and gives some ideas to solve the problems. Then on the basis of analyzing the outlets location principle and influence factors of express railway breakbulk cargo, in combination with logistics node location theory and commonly used discrete location model, establishing the improved Set Covering Location model, which considering the customer service satisfaction, to study the express business outlets layout of railway breakbulk cargo in a certain area, and verify the feasibility of model by giving examples that contains operation station and does not contain operation station in a certain area, using Matlab and Lingo software to solve the model. Then starting from the minimum cost of transportation, this paper has established P-median location model to study station location problem of the operation station in a certain area, examples are given to verify the feasibility,using Lingo software to solve the model. Finally, this article puts forward the idea about the development of small railway scattered "freight shoppe ",and it has presented the cargo service mode of small railway scattered "freight shoppe "emphatically.This paper provides some ideas and methods for the railway express breakbulk cargo business outlets layout, and examples are given to verify the feasibility. The ideas proposed according to the small railway scattered "freight shoppe" can be a reference to railway express breakbulk cargo in solving small packages "door to door "service.
