With domestic economic development, China has successively built suspension bridges with strong span ability. Generally, anchorage of suspension Bridges is mass concrete. During construction, cracks in concrete are often generated due to temperature stress, and hence people pay more attention to temperature control. Many scholars and project participants have studied and summarized the rule of mass concrete hydration heat, and got a lot of effective temperature control measures. Based on the temperature control measures that have been summarized, this paper, with the engineering background of mass concrete used in the north and the south anchorage of Cuntan Yangtze River Bridge which is under construction, conducts a further research on temperature control measures for mass concrete. This paper firstly introduces related hydration heat calculation theory, and analyzes hydration heat of Cuntan Yangtze River Bridge anchorage by using the finite element software MIDAS/FEA. The north and south anchorage structures of Cuntan Yangtze river bridge are of different size, both of which have experienced the high and low temperature climate of Chongqing. This paper determines the change rule and influence factors of concrete temperature field through comparative analysis of the measured data and the calculated value, so as to take economic effective temperature control measures. The anchorage construction is a long period, during which extreme weather such as high temperature, low temperature, cold wave and cooling are very likely to show up which tends to cause concrete cracks. Temperature has a great influence on temperature of concrete, and cold wave and cold weather is adverse to the construction. This paper will study the influence of cold wave on mass concrete on the basis of hydration and actual engineering data, and proposes the corresponding temperature control and protective measures.
