Qinghai province’s territory is currently setting only the old and new hydrological station 43, and the uneven distribution, with a longer amount of statistics hydrological station less belong hydrological data sparse areas, this situation restricts the level of development of the province’s highway bridges and culverts hydrologic calculation.Period from 1979 to 2012, the province highway department has been using the former Ministry of Transportation Planning and Design Institute 1979 research, the province is divided into six hydrological partitions, but there is no corresponding zoning range chart.The raw data used to design a multi-flow formula regression analysis of statistical data for 1979 observations, these data long time, does not consider water regime changes in recent years. In 1991, Qinghai Province Highway Survey and Design Institute research using the "fitting method" to improve traffic formulas corrected, but the underlying data is still used 1979 data, hydrology computing security, despite the increase, but the underlying data and the lack of credibility in a long time, is bound to the results, adversely affect accuracy.December 2008, by Qinghai Vocational and Technical College commitment departmental level issues "corrected and applied research in Qinghai highway bridge hydrology partition"(Contract Number: 2008-09) officially approved. After three years of research, the use of suitable local conditions, zoning method has some advancement, according to the latest statistics hydrology, the province’s original six partitions, reclassified as 7 runoff area and a season of runoff area, was specific and clear zoning map and the latest design flow calculation formula, the construction of highway bridges and culverts on the province played a good role in guiding.This study relies on "Correction of Qinghai highway bridge and application of hydrological partition" scientific research, systematic introduction to the geography and hydrology overview of Qinghai Qinghai highway bridge design flow hydrology partition profiles and formulas to determine the focus is traffic formula regression analysis and error analysis. Research shows: the flow rate measured hydrologic station after data regression equation obtained, the calculation precision accuracy is higher than the original partition, partition now show consistency better than the original partition. The main contents and results of this study are:(1) Through hydrological district argued that the original six Qinghai Province hydrology highway bridge district, fine zoned 7 runoff area and a non-runoff area, first drawn up in Qinghai highway bridge hydrological zoning map and the corresponding water system map.(2) The use of matlab software partition of highway bridges and culverts hydrology hydrology data corrected regression analysis to determine the flow calculation formula parameters, fixed flow rate calculation formula, any frequency can be calculated design flow, to fill gaps in the province.This study also has some shortcomings. As Qilian Mountains currently no hydrological stations, resulting in the partition can not be refined? Qaidam region larger area, Yushu area less than normal number of hydrological stations and water regime complex, too few observations, the impact of the thin partition plan ? the damaged parts of the province Haixi occur frequently, resulting in this "Qaidam area" empirical formula of "damaged" the special hydrological phenomena still apply.
