| As the urbanization of our country accelerating, the development of the city is also coming into a rapid growth stage. The city morphology and function of structure change as the urban space extend. Problems such as city extension, separation between company and residence and the traffic jam will appear if the urbanization is not well controlled, affecting the operation efficiency of the city. Cities in loess hilly-gully region is limited by special landform condition that the problems proposed are more serious, study on city land layout is badly needed to provide theoretical support for the optimization of city land layout and construction of new area.Take Yan’an city for example and started form the traffic, this paper focus on the status quo that there is still space on the research of special terrain restricting the land-use development in small and medium-sized cities. After study on the interactive feedback relationship between city traffic system and land layout and the effect of topographical feature of loess hilly-gully region on city construction, this paper deeply analyzed the effect of traffic on land-use layout in loess hilly-gully region and the main factors affecting the land-use layout in micro and macro point of view, using method that combines theory and empirical, qualitative and quantitative. This paper studied on the land-use layout mode affected by traffic based on all proposed and concluded the following results:Firstly, the macro mechanism of traffic affecting the land-use layout in loess hilly-gully region is that the traffic plays an important role on the extension of land. The city land-use extension improves as the traffic improves, so that the city structure and form changes correspondingly; the macro mechanism is the significant relationship between residents travelling distribution and mixed degree of land use, traffic accessibility and land prices.Secondly, the most important traffic factor affecting the land-use layout in loess hilly-gully region is dominant mode of transport and road network organization. Public transportation, spider-web road and dense network block pattern are highly advocated.Thirdly, cities in loess hilly-gully region can be divided into ribbon stretching, dendritic development and center group three phases according to the city space development momentum. In order to avoid problems brought by the unlimited fore-and-aft development of city, this paper suggests to extend 10km in axial direction that dominated by city bus,20km in axial direction that dominated by rail transit,10km in dendritic direction.Fourth, city land-use layout such as axial mode, single-center group mode, multi-center group mode and the like are feasible according to different developing stages, based on the strict limitation on the extension of city land use in axial direction. |
