Study On The Symbolic Characteristics Of Cave Dwelling Buildings In Yulin Loess Hilly And Gully Region Under The Background Of Rural Tourism

Yulin loess hilly gully area is one of the six cave areas in China-the important part of cave area in Northern Shaanxi.The area has a wide range of terrain,dry and rainy climate,and has a thick red culture,farming culture and historical folk custom.Under the influence of natural conditions and social factors,the unique cave building symbol has been formed.With the rapid development of rural tourism,cave building symbol,as a strong symbol of regional rural tourism,is the best medium and the most intuitive business card to transmit the regional connotation characteristics.Based on the theory of architectural semiotics,combined with the methods of literature research and field investigation,this paper interprets the characteristics of cave building symbols in the Loess Hilly and gully area of Yulin,explores the application methods of cave building symbols,puts forward the comprehensive application strategies of cave building symbols,and helps the village tourism,and thus achieves the function of inheriting regional cultural connotation,It provides a new perspective and ideas for the modern application of cave building.First,10 sample villages are selected from the villages in Yulin Loess Hilly and gully area to develop rural tourism.Through investigation,the cave building symbols in Yulin loess hilly gully area are analyzed,and the symbols are divided into three categories: image,indication and symbol.Combined with external context,the signifier and meaning of construction symbols are interpreted.Secondly,the relationship between rural tourism and cave building symbols is clarified.Combining with the modern cave building design cases,the paper explores the application principles of symbols in the meaning and application level and the symbol application methods on the level of symbol structure.Finally,in the way of application of symbol,the paper selects the sample cave building group,and puts forward the comprehensive application strategy of cave building symbols,in order to inherit the advantages of cave,improve the disadvantages,and summarize the positive significance of the application of cave building symbols to the development of rural tourism.Through the above research,the following conclusions are concluded: 1)a relatively complete cave building symbol system has been formed in the Loess Hilly Gully Area of Yulin,which mainly includes image symbols,indicator symbols and symbolic symbols,and the symbol of arched space is the most representative symbol.2)Cave building symbol is a powerful expression of rural tourism,rural tourism is the way of transmission of cave building symbols.They support and cooperate with each other to complete the cultural output of Yulin Loess Hilly and gully area.3)The application of cave building symbols should follow the principles of the meaning level and the level of compliance,and six methods of the symbol level should be selected.4)The comprehensive application strategy of cave building symbols in Yulin Loess Hilly and gully area needs to be refined from the traditional cave.Considering from the aspects of lighting optimization,ventilation improvement,storage space expansion,plane function reorganization,elevation modeling improvement and public space shaping,the application of cave building symbols in rural tourism background is completed in combination with various application methods of the symbol of the structure.
