It is inseparable between the children’s education and the learning environment. Children are always curious about the things surrounding them, and they will interact with the environments the people and the things around them, which is their way to explore the unknown world. The design of kindergarten should be in line with children’s behavior, the psychological accept range and the appropriateness of their living space and environment. It should not just be a specific environment which is exaggerated by visual elements of different colors and designs. The environment for children’s living should not just be a visual feast, in the composition of space, it also need to add other symbols in line with children’s psychological feelings. By using the most direct signs to stimulate children’s senses, so that they can understand such an environment, and they will analyze and explore this kind of space, so the interior space environment design is not simply decorative, we also need to consider how to meet the needs of young children properly and to ensure the quality of environments for children.The interior space environment design of intermittent mixed age kindergarten is an innovative design comparing with the traditional kindergarten interior space pattern. It not only bears the preschool education function of all ages, but also bears the respecting for the children’s psychological feeling of all ages. It is a space environment design which respects the children’s development, and it satisfies the children from the visual sense and tactile sense in the space.
