Shortage of freshwater resources has serious affected human survival and development, the main measures to solve the current shortage of freshwater resources are water conservation, desalination, at present these measures do not solve the shortage of freshwater resources problem fundamentally, but Water Extraction from Air technology is one effective way to solve the shortage of fresh water resources, which can meet the needs of freshwater resources under certain conditions. Water Extraction from Air technology has the following characteristics: Water Extraction from Air technology is a very promising technology, which is particularly suitable for the population concentrated in developing countries; Water Extraction from Air technology is small restricted by geographical conditions, capital, management and other conditions, it can basically solve the problem of inadequate water supply in rural areas; Water Extraction from Air technology does not meet the irrigation water requirements. Water Extraction from Air is one hot research issue of many scholars now, and has developed a variety of Water Extraction from Air device, part of Water Extraction from Air device has been promoting and the economic effect is good. But in China the research on Water Extraction from Air technology is still in its infancy stage, Water Extraction from Air device prevalence has problems of high energy consumption, small amount of water, this paper made studies and optimization on these issues.Water Extraction from Air technology mainly has three ways: surface-cooled, desiccant sorption / regenerative, guide- control the flow. This paper studies Water Extraction from cooling Air technology is surface-cooled technology, which uses a centrifugal fan of the inverter outdoor wet air into the evaporator, moist air flowing into the evaporator where it is cooled to a temperature below the dew point, and condensate in the evaporator surface, under the action of gravity and the new winds condensate water drop to water receiving tray in the bottom of the evaporator, and then using filtration, disinfection to get health and hygiene drinking water.Temperature and humidity of natural environment air, wind speed always change, therefore the Water Extraction from Air device need to meet complex and changing environmental conditions. In order to study the performance of the device, the mathematical model of Water Extraction from Air device and the evaporator are designed and calculated, and simulation analysis of energy consumption has been taken. Then we constructed Water Extraction from cooling Air platform according to the design calculations. The main innovative points of the platform: fan with variable frequency fans to simulate wind speed changing laws; evaporator uses two evaporators in parallel, to meet the different seasons air heat load varies greatly laws.The results show that: the average relative humidity of evaporator outlet is 95%, the outlet air temperature is effected by the intake air temperature and intake air enthalpy, the outlet air temperature is higher when the inlet air temperature and the enthalpy of the air intake is higher; air Water preparation amount is maximum in September of summer, and the performance of device is better at night, the best time period is 20:00 ~ 8:00; the water preparation amount consumption of 1 k Wh electricity is different of every months,the device can product 2.1kg fresh water consumption of 1 k Wh electricity, and the economic performance is better.
