China is a country that is desperately short of water.Per capita water resources are less than the world average.The water quality requirements of the power plants recycling cooling is a major water use item in petrochemical,electric power,iron and steel,metallurgy and other industries.Therefore,using reclaimed water-estuarine water as circulating cooling water of power plant has significant economic and environmental effects.River water has been treated with some chemicals and can be used instead of fresh water as the circulating cooling water for power plants.In this work,we mainly studied the effect of treated water as the water quality requirements of the power plants recycling cooling.The performance,mechanism and corrosion inhibition effect of five kinds of scale inhibitors were investigated through the screening test of static scale inhibition performance,the sea water static simulation experiment and the sea water bactericidal and algal killing performance and the matching performance test of sea water bactericide and scale inhibitor.Through analysis and comparison,the most suitable concentration ratio and dosage of seawater were selected,which had certain effects on the treatment of scale in the cooling system of power plant.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Under the conditions of the same water quality,the same concentration ratio and the same agent test,when the dosage is more than 10mg/L(commercial concentration),the difference of scale inhibition rate between adding acid and not adding acid is not significant in the static simulation experiment.Therefore,from the perspective of environmental protection,it is recommended not to add acid.(2)Compared with the static concentration test,the dynamic simulation test has a larger amount of water,and the water replenishment is continuous,and the operation is stable.The data also have reproducibility,and the test results are also representative.According to the screening test results of static scale inhibition performance,12mg/L(commercial concentration)without adding acid was uniformly selected for dynamic simulation screening test.(3)Through the seawater dynamic simulation experiment,it is recommended to use a completely phosphate-free scale inhibitor.(4)The experiment of bactericidal and algal killing performance of seawater fungicide and matching performance of scale inhibitor showed that the heating surface had no scaling.
