Study On The Dynamic Mechanism Of Resident Community Participation For The Sustainable Development

Geoparks network guideline issued by UNESCO in April,2002 has been used as the establishment of a framework for the construction of geopark..So far, totally,there are 31 world geoparks and 185 named national geoparks in China.The construction of geological park is for protecting the geoheritage and nature,popularizing the knowledge of Earth Science to improve the scientific quality of the public,and promoting local economic and social sustainable development which is closely linked with the local residents.In recent years, more and more researches focused on community residents in the Geological Park,and this paper will focus on community residents’ action in the sustainable development of Geoparks.This paper will solve three problems.The first one is that How important community behavior is in the development of geological parks,and the second one is How to drive the benign behavior of community residents,the last one is that what is good to the geoparks.First of all,by digging deep connotation of the theory of sustainable development of Geological Park, sustainable development and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory.Sustainable development should be achieved for the construction and development of geopark, geological heritage protection and met community residents’ needs at the same time.Secondly, based on the theory of stakeholders,the roles of various stakeholders of the geological park in the construction of geopark is analysed. Based on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, the problems about five sections concluding respect deviation, distribution of interests, the popularization of science,unscientific planning and construction process,management mechanism related with community residents are exposed.Thirdly,by analyzing the leading factors of community residents’ needs in different periods of the sustainable development of Geopark,because of Demand reached,the motivation and action will be changed.Considering the stage of development of Xingtai Canyon Group National Geopark, Hebei Province, a series of measures will be took to meet the needs of security,social communication and respect.At last,the community residents will realize the object of protection,and protect geoheritage according to the different types of geological heritages.At the same time,community residents will work closely with the stuff,improve the own quality,report issues when take some action.
