Attention Handan City affordable housing, improve affordable housing in the site selection and space k it to m ake affordable housing for lo w-income people can live occupants.In this paper, based on the literature collection, questionnaire and household visit and so on, the writer analyzes the problem s on site layout of the affordable housing in Handan, as well as the habita tion family structure, living dem and and some shortcomings about living in the affordable housing. Through analyzing these findings, then combining with the affordable housing’s particularity, the writer puts forward some suggestions on the site layout and design.As the affordable housing policy for gui dance, and m eeting affordable housing families’ living conditions for standards, the writer discusses the site layo ut and design theory of the affordable housing, hoping to provide a reference for the affordable housing construction in Handan.
