| With the rapid development of smart grid in recent years, the application of intelligent relay protection device based on IEC 61850 standard in the construction of intelligent substation is widely. Compared with the traditional comprehensive relay protection device, in order to meet the demand of devices’ interoperability in intelligent substation, intelligent relay protection devices have a higher requirements for communication. In practice, however, many manufacturers develop intelligent relay protection devices only by updating higner performance hardware and purchaseing communication software package. This development method ignores the IEC 61850 standard’s application advantage which provides methods of unified modeling and configuration, and ignores the reality that most of protection principle are ripe, which is not good for improving the development efficiency and speed, is not good for reducing development difficulty and cost.So in this, based on comparison and analysis of various development methods for traditional comprehensive relay protection device, this paper put forward the general stack configuration development method. Relying on renewable protection function library and template library, this method makes full use of the core idea of IEC 61850 standard, through a unified configuration method to realize auto generation of protective device protection program, the ICD configuration files and data mapping related files, which can avoid disadvantages of manual programming, reduce debugging difficulty and improve the efficiency of development. Based on the analysis of this development method, this paper uses the Excel tool to achieve four major functions of the method:renewable protection function library and 61850 template library, configurable generation of protection program, configurable generation of the ICD file and data mapping related files. According to the development step, the paper takes the development of three section overcurrent protection device as an example, using Excel tool to generate the related program files and configuration files. Combined with the necessary communication program (MMS/GOOSE/SV), protection calculation program and other related program, this paper also build protection device which is based on ZedBoard platform, and use the relay protection testing device to test the function of this device by simulating overcurrent fault. Testing results show that using this method and the excel tool to develop protection device meets the requirements, and then prove that the method is correct and feasible.Combining the IEC 61850 standard and protection development together, the method that this paper using to develop protection device, has an obvious ideology, and can reduce the workload of development greatly. Furthermore this method has a high level of universality, can not only bring great convenience for the development of the protection device, but also provide a reference for the development of other similar IED. Therefore this method has a certain theoretical and practical significance. |
