Evaluation And Rating System Of Self-elevating Drilling Unit Including Program Development

As the continuous development of offshore petroleum resources, and growth of offshore oil industry, the sales market of self-elevating drilling unit is expanding rapidly. This drilling unit is regarded as the most widely used facilities for offshore drilling. In the process of design, the requirements for its advantages is getting higher and higher. In China, the resources under sea are very rich. We still have a large number of potential oil and gas to be developed. Therefore, studying on self-elevating drilling unit technology-environment-economic evaluation system and analysing the main influencing factors of advanced performance, has important engineering significance to improve our own drilling unit design and enhance the capacity of offshore oil exploitation.On the issue, this paper is expected to complete the objectives as follows:(l)Establish a reasonable, comprehensive, practical evaluation system for self-elevating drilling unit, including the indexes which can fully reflect the unit performance and conform to the requirements of the times;(2)Use scientific and effective evaluation methods to complete the calculation process of evaluation and the rating system, meanwhile verify the feasibility and rationality combined with the real example. Analysis influences of every index for evaluation results, and point out the main influence factor. Then put forward the improvement method or direction;(3)In the process of calculation, set different value of weighting coefficients and compare the differences between calculation results. Analyse the influence of weighting coefficients;(4)Design independent development application of VB 6.0.Complete the calculation process of the evaluation and rating system of self-elevating drilling unit based on the reasonable and practical evaluation methods. We can also import data and output the results. This can help to simplify the work process, reduce the workload and save time.
