As human life level unceasing enhancement, we in the pursuit of ship safety and rapidity also becomes more and more rigorous to ship comfortable performance at the same time,In recent years ship noise control more and more aroused people’s concern. The International Maritime Organization Maritime Safety Committee approved a revised draft about the ship noise level rules on the 91th meeting. The draft for accommodation space on the ship≥10000GT put forward higher request and become a compulsory standards.In response to the new specification put forward higher requirements for ships, the optimization design of ship cabin noise is imminent. Based on the software VA One using statistical energy method this paper studies the ship cabin noise control and the optimization design.By the software VA One, we sets up two kinds of simplified model of the hull, the differences of two models only lie in the form of the superstructure. In order to explore the influence of the regularity of ship superstructure bulkhead to cabin noise, using statistical energy method for two kinds of noise level has carried on the comparative analysis of the model. We found that the noise response in rooms of the regular superstructure bulkhead is small, but relative to the noise response in rooms of the asymmetric irregular superstructure bulkhead difference is not obvious. Therefore the regularity of the superstructure bulkhead has an impact on the cabin noise, but the impact is not significant.To give a brief introduction of sound-absorbing material, and studied the physical properties of cabin noise absorption material, we found that sound-absorbing material can obviously improve cabin’s noise level caused by air-borne noise. Adding sound-absorbing material thickness, density and thickness of air layer behind the sound absorption effect is increased and the thickness of the material on sound absorption effect is significant. As the parameters further increase, the noise reduction effect is less obvious. Increase the air layer behind the material in thickness similar to increase the thickness of the material effect, but save material to reduce the structure weight is more than the latter.Introduces the ship noise control goal, principles and basic procedure, and sums up the cabin noise control methods. Use testing result as an example to introduce the causes of all kinds of cabin noise. With noise paranormal reasons for noise reduction scheme is put forward and received a significant noise reduction effect. Finally highlights the concept of comprehensive control of noise.
