Ship noise is a significant factor in impacting the comfort of ship.We should pay enough attention on both the noise prediction and the noise control.This thesis predicts cabin noise through VA One software based on statistical energy analysis method and does some studies on noise reduction measures.The study manifests that the influence of liquid medium in liquid tank on cabin noise is very slight and negligible.Then based on this conclusion,the author does a series of research on the influence of simplified double bottom with liquid tanks on cabin noise.The research result demonstrates that the effect is also slight and negligible so that in the following modeling work the double bottom structure can be simplified into a large cavity to reduce modeling work and increase efficiency in the modeling process.This thesis does some research about the impact on noise of excitation source cabin and its adjacent cabin with sound-absorbing material or damping structure under different excitation.The research result demonstrates that the excitation source cabin with sound-absorbing material is better than its adjacent cabin with sound-absorbing material.The adjacent cabin with damping structure is more favorable to reduce its noise under structural noise.The excitation source cabin with damping structure is more favorable to decrease its adjacent cabin noise under airborne noise.Lastly,to combine the sound-absorbing material and damping structure which are studied in this thesis into a new-type composite sound-insulating structure,and then applies this new-type composite sound-insulating structure in the 2nd officer room which is adjacent to the engine room,it can be observed that the noise in 2nd officer room is obviously decreased.
