Power industry is an important fundamental industry of national economy as well as utilities. Electrical safety has a direct connection with the development of national economy and people’s lives and property safety which will also affect national security and social stability. Electric transmission line projects is an important of electric transmission line construction. Meanwhile, high-risk, frequent accidents are usual in electric transmission line projects, which can cause loss of people’s life and property. Therefore, it is of great importance to implement risk management in electric transmission line projects.The paper is based on the project< Construction of electric transmission line projects and application security risk model>. On the basis the relevant literature and works, I use a combination method of theoretical research and case studies to achieve the study of electric transmission line projects, including risk identification, risk analysis, risk assessment and risk control study. The main results include:(1) According to the lowest reasonably practicable principles of risk, combined with the relevant national standards, we make the rules of acceptance criteria in electric transmission line project. With the help of Delphi to judge probabilistic grade levels and the risk of loss consequences of each job, each job content derived risk level inherent risk analysis can be applied to transmission lines.(2) On the basis of electric transmission line construction technology, combined with the expertise the paper determine the accident that may occur in the electric transmission line project. With the use of theories and methods of system security works research and analysis of these incidents, I get all the risk factors that could cause an accident, and then come to the risk identification list in electric transmission line project.(3) In the resulting list, based on risk identification, combined with relevant regulations, standards and existing theoretical research, I build the risk assessment system; Delphi method which collects proceeds from expert opinion based on expert opinions, cluster process important indicators of the extent of the formation of the "typical sort" table, and then use a "structure entropy method" to determine the weight of each index value; pull in fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, finally come to the completion of construction of transmission line project risk assessment model.(4) Take an example of a 220KV power transmission project, using the above model for risk assessment, further determine of the actual risk involved based on the inherent risk of the project to, The results prove the actual validity of the model.(5) Try to analysis the causes of each of the risk factors, characteristics, consequences of external factors, such as to eliminate or control the risk factors for the purpose of combining theory research, surveys and field experience in construction personnel proposed risk control measures.The results of the paper provides ideas for risk management in electric transmission line, which have important theoretical and practical value for the entire power transmission projects.
