Improve the smart level of traction substation.This paper analyzes the present situation of traction substation auxiliary monitoring system at first, and determines the system function and the function module map.Then the system improves the function of every subsystem in the design,integrates various subsystems,make them become smart and stable. To make each subsystem form linkage,and build traction substation smart monitor system for auxiliary.The end of this paper briefly discusses the several kinds of smart video monitoring application. The automatically inspection function has been came true. The system improves traction substation’s level of smart,and it has taken responsibility of the substation safety and reliable operation.
