Discussion On The Rural Landscape Construction

As the wide distribution and appeared relatively earlier landscape type in the world, rural landscape also had a long history in China. However, with the rapid urbanization progress in China, rural landscape was in serious crisis, such as ecologic destruction and the loss of traditional culture. Therefore, there is a huge problem for how build an overall model of rural landscape to adapt real situation of country in China.Taiwan’s rural landscape construction has made great achievements through more than thirty years of exploration. From the original sightseeing orchard to the leisure farm,then the leisure agriculture park,the protection of the ecological environment was always put as a top priority, meanwhile taking advantage of its agricultural resources and inheriting traditional cultural. Tutoring peasants’ transition management and promoting leisure agriculture by the experience of a variety of local features, strengthening its rural nature, ecology and the experience of other industrial properties, Taiwan agriculture would achieve the sustainable development and rural regeneration. Because of Taiwan’s historical background, cultural tradition are similar to the mainland, this research based on the fact to make summary and discussion on development of Taiwan’s rural landscape, to provide better suggestion for rural landscape construction。This article due to Taiwan’s rural landscape, summarizing and assessing the rural landscape planning overall concept and methods. Research on this project have a certain significance both in theory and in practice. The article has three parts. The first part is the paper’s basis, containing the research on rural landscapes and theoretical support, which is the whole rural landscape planning framework and the whole idea. The second part is the paper’s content, taking the Taiwan’s classical country as exmple, studying the theory and concrete measures in the environment, traditional landscapes, landscape features, the main entrance landscape, traditional architecture, public facilities and so on. In addition, according to analysis Taiwan province’s rural landscape construction and aim at some rural landscape issues occur in mainland, this paper also propose a number of concrete measures for construct agricultural production landscape, country houses landscape, public space landscape and cultural landscape. The third part is a summary and discussion of the paper, summarying results of this study, and making outlook of further understanding of China’s rural landscape planning. The innovation of this paper is: for the first time in Taiwan’s rural landscape construction carried out in-depth research, and build rural landscape construction system.
