| Now, the research about evaluation of road alignment has the great development, the related evaluation theory and evaluation method is flexible and varied. But so far, the mature research of road alignment quality is that evaluating and analyzing the linear quality from one aspect. In addition the establishment of evaluation index system is not perfect when we evaluation the road alignment quality synthetically. Finally, because the linear evaluation has double characters which are uncertainty and certainty, so even if establishing a comprehensive evaluation model, it will lose the data because the processing of the two resulting is handled improperly.By adopting the combination of theoretical research and practical work, it will recognize problem of the road alignment design and it can optimize and improve the level of road alignment design evaluation. Continuously In the aspect of theory, the paper research will promote the study of the theory of the evaluation of road alignment design, at the same time the road alignment optimization design evaluation in the field of application; In reality, the thesis research results can help to design, management department to improve its decisions, improve the rationality and validity of the scheme, expanding the scope of the decision. In this paper, the main work includes the following points. First of all, on the basis of predecessors’ research achievements to establish scientific, reasonable and comprehensive evaluation index system of road alignment design, and handling the related evaluation index uniformly. Secondly, based on the analysis of the optimized fuzzy soft set features, build up the route design quality evaluation model based on fuzzy soft set. Finally, to verify the proposed evaluation model, using the Yangchuan highway and Chongqing high-speed beltway as an example, the specific research results are shown below.For the research on comprehensive evaluation of road alignment design, it is divided into builders, users, environmental view three big aspects, that standing at a new Angle of view to consider the problems, will make the selection of evaluation more comprehensive and reasonable. Based on the user’s point of view the des ign of the related evaluation index is put forward through a detailed analysis of the environmental impact of factors, thus summing up the main evaluation index of the environmental impact and put forward a new evaluation index as the linear part of the evaluation index system, namely environmental impact index. it Introduces fuzzy soft set the new concept to the road engineering field, and at the same time improves fuzzy soft set theory so that making the theory is suitable to the linear assessment.Establishing a model of line design quality evaluation based on fuzzy soft set, The model can deal with the certainty and uncertainty of information reasonably. To emerge the two kinds of information could ensure the integrity of the information, and to make the evaluation results more fit in line with the actual situation of the quality of road alignment.
