Wide application of color pavement is a significant symbol of the city to accelerate the modernization, it can improve the space of road greatly, the road and the surrounding buildings become more harmonious.At present,the colorful asphalt pavement has difficult issues such as high cost and hard promotion.What is more, a large number of road in China have been completed and opened to the traffic. The repair and maintenance period is coming. Studying the economical and effective method of maintenance is a trend. Emulsified asphalt and micro surfacing technology are important methods for preventive maintenance,effective measures to quickly repair the pavement. However, with the continuous improvement of people’s living standard, people eager to have rich and colorful living environment. More importantly, a serious shortage of energy and the disadvantages of the traditional asphalt pavement construction technology have brought a heavy burden to the environment. So the study of color emulsified asphalt has become an inevitable trend.The main research of this paper are as follows:First of all,identify the raw material of colored asphalt(base oil,resin,polymer SBS, plasticizer, red iron oxide pigments), as polymer SBS laid out two options,which were named as 1#SBS and 2#SBS.Secondly,with reference to previous research experience, determine the ratio of the raw materials to make color asphalt,determine the process for preparing color asphalt, by analysing the conventional color asphalt preparation process, confirme the preparation of 1#SBS and 2#SBS color asphalt. Test the properties of two kinds of color asphalt. Select the 1#SBS color asphalt for the next study.Again,analyse the preparation process and parameters of the colorful emulsified asphalt, determine the main parameters of color asphalt emulsion preparation process,emulsifier and the pH value of the solution, temperature etc..Emulsifying agent,modifier and stabilizer content in colored asphalt emulsion group allocation ratio design plays an important role, is determined by the following steps:① give the ratio of color emulsified asphalt : the ratio of oil to water 62:38,1.8% emulsifier,3.5% modifier,stabilizer 0.15%, change the amount of emulsifier from 0.6% to 1.8%.Get the asphalt performance change rule when the dosage of the emulsion was changed. Ultimately determine the asphalt emulsion emulsifier is 1.4%.② in the oil-water ratio 62:38, emulsifier 1.4%,stabilizer 0.15%,by changing the dosage of modifier SBS which is from 1% to 6%, observe the penetration,softening point, 5 degree Celsius ductility changes. Trend chart shows, SBS latex modified agent can make the lower penetration, softening point and 5 degree Celsius ductility increased. When the SBS latex content increased from 1% to 5%, the penetration and softening point of the two indicators changed significantly, the latex content in 5% ~ 6%, penetration and softening point changes more slowly. With the increase in the amount of latex,ductility is always showing a rapid growth trend,SBS can effectively improve the low temperature performance of asphalt materials.Ultimately determine the SBS latex in 5%.③ in the ratio of oil to water 62:38, 1.4% emulsifier, modifier 5%, anhydrous calcium chloride were 0.05%,0.1%,0.15%,0.2%,0.25%,to observe the storage stability of emulsified asphalt. With the increase of dosage, the emulsion stability is greatly improved, when the dosage of the stabilizer is 0.2%, emulsion is relatively stable. The final choice of stabilizer content was 0.2%.④ in the ratio of oil to water 62:38,1.4% emulsifier and modifier 5%,stabilizer0.2%, evaluate its performance index.The performance indexes of color emulsified asphalt material can meet the JTGF40-2004,but, the softening point of the material is fifty-five centigrade, lower than fifty –seven centigrade, can not be used in South hot areas 、heavy traffic areas、the ares need to fill the grooves. Combined with the actual situation of Chongqing, it has high temperature, corresponding measures should be taken to improve the performance of emulsified asphalt,then apply to the project.This paper has papered the mixture,has put forward a experimental method of colorful emulsified asphalt mixture.by studying the material mixing sequence,compaction molding method and health condition. At last determine the mixture ratio design method.This paper has studied high temperature stability、low temperature stability and water stability under different volume epoxy resin by doing wheel rutting test 、 low temperature bending test 、 adhesion test and frozen thaw split test.At last, get the change rule of mixture performance.
