In today’s increasingly diverse shopping activities, commercial space tends to be compounded It changes with the times, constantly change themselves to adapt to people’s needs. With respect to the museums, churches and other public buildings, it began carrying a certain cultural values. The spread of this culture, through a free, have experience a sense of the way, and gradually into people’s hearts, and subtle impact on people’s lives, and may even become a symbol of the city. Commercial space is a complex, multiple behavioral, functional, space and screen are compounded by the complexity of the space under a variety of complex commercial activities. Among them, the business activities mainly in retail, including restaurants, entertainment and so on.The topic chosen to commercial complex space research. We are trying to study, to achieve the most immediate purpose in two ways:(1) summarizes the types of commercial complex space; (2) The reference value of the design direction and possibilities. Significance of the study is that architects can bring more variety of design inspiration and reference, in order for people to design a more attractive commercial space.The first chapter points out the major research background, objects, content, purpose, meaning, methods, and references. The second chapter clarifies the object of study, namely commercial complex space. And the three main research point of view, has been described: including from the perspective of behavioral, functional point of view, the interface perspective. Behind the third chapter to the fifth, respectively, are discussed from three perspectives. Among them, the third chapter from the perspective of behavior, combined with behavioral psychology, commercial complex analytic space, got three main trigger points:are "substantial nature" mentality, feeling fine, sporadic acts; fourth Chapter from the functional point of view, the commercial complex analytic space, got six basic types:functions and settings, cross-functional, features include functional replacement, functional integration, functional changes; chapter from the perspective of the interface, combined with the concept of transparency, commercial complex analytic space. We got five basic types: transparent interface, open hole interface, dynamic interfaces, interfaces and concepts implicit interface. Chapter VI places two classic cases (PRADA flagship store in New York and Japan Hakata Watertown), through behavioral, functional, interface three angles, a comprehensive analysis of its complex nature. Finally, it summarizes the three types of characteristics of complex relationship between the five types of space, and nature of the business complex.
