In this paper, a dividing method for the structure of distribution network has been proposed to adapt rapidly to the variation of the topology and the uncertainty of flow direction caused by network reconfiguration. Based on the definition of out-degree in graph theory, the network has been divided into several branch chains, and the branch chain adjacency list has been set up. The initial results of the power calculation and the back / forward sweep sequence is confirmed by the characteristics of the depth first search. The single-ring network has been set up by the feature of the branch chain structure as it eliminates the effects of the laterals. When the single-ring is dissolved, it helps to redistrict the new branch chain and ascertain its back /forward sweep sequence. The results of the calculation example show that the method being proposed is fast and effective. The essence of rapid adaption of topology reconfiguration method is based on branch exchange algorithm. Take branch exchange algorithm only to reconfigure the network with the target of cut down active power loss might lead to local optimum. Thus, A Tabu Search algorithm is proposed. This method takes single step as its field search strategy and moves only one tie switch each step. The search accuracy is thus improved in the expense of calculation speed.Load constitution of oilfield distribution network has also been studied. Model of oil extraction load and the power loss of oilfield distribution network have been built to come up with the evaluation function of the oilfield distribution network reconfiguration. Take Tabu Search algorithm and the proposed Topology Rapidly Adaption technology to divide and reconfigure a real oilfield network. The result of the reconfiguration proves that the proposed method is valuable.
