At home and abroad, the top light is widely used in large space building. Toplighting is a way to increase the depth of space, large indoor natural light intensityvery effective measures, particularly for large depth and span of the building, at thesame time, it uses the sun took various forms. Research indicates that externalshading in summer cooling savings on energy issues more effectively than the innershading.Shade design has a strong regional adaptation, climate and geographical location-dependent, it is necessary to consider the summer sun, but also consider thewintertime solar radiation. Compared with the inner shade, outside the building cannot only block the sun shade direct light into the room, you can also block solar heatinto the room, so the building exterior shading can reduce summer air conditioningload, but will increase the energy consumption for heating in winter and shade in theto some extent hindered the application of natural light, resulting in an increase inlighting energy consumption, therefore, needs to be analyzed by calculating the bestoverall energy savings of shade form. This article focuses on building energy consumption starting to study the largespace at the top of the outer light shading performance, combined with natural lighting, shading to get a more reasonable solution. This paper describes the application ofexternal shading top lighting and shading systems in case of theoretical knowledge, and then summarizes the impact of factors external shading, followed by Tianjin areaof a train station, for example, developed a specific simulation program, and then, through the inside and outside the shade, sun visor toward, away from windows, from the high ratio, tilt angle, the reflectivity which eight shading parameters aresimulated, and to assist with the scene of natural lighting conditions to conduct sitesurveys, analysis of the calculation results than the right, from natural lighting and airconditioning energy consumption of its top two angles to optimize the form ofskylight shade.
