Research On The Form Of High-density Building Based On Ecological Insight

Since the early1900s, high-density construction develops with the progress ofeconomy and technology, urban expansion and population growth, energy and resourcescrisis. Considering the space demands, especially the large population base and limitedfarmland, high-density has become an unavoidable topic. Construction and expression ofarchitectural form is an important factor in building architecture itself, while the singleform of high-density construction inherent International Paradigm can’t meet the citie’sneeds of resources, natural, cultural and other aspects. However, for a long time, academicresearch in this field has not been looked into adequately to date. There are still manyresearch gaps and even misunderstanding. Therefore, it’s very necessary to explore deeperinto the form of high-density construction from the broad macro-ecological perspective.This paper which was made up for the above shortcomings by using literature readingand methods of field research and apply the generalized morphological research areasconduct research, aims to discover high-density construction morphological characteristicsand manifestations to meet the urban ecological construction.This paper describes from three aspects. From the macroscopic perspective, It mainlystudies the classification of high-density construction, distribution patterns and problems, inthe context of austerity dense urban and intends to emphasize the sustainability of austeritydense urban to weaken environmental erosion, reduce energy consumption, improve spatialdensity, enhance resource sharing and so on. The meso Major areas of high density buildingforms the main features.It summarizes the function of high-density building hybridsymbiotic form, form three-dimensional space, environmental integration symbiotic formsand conveys the high-density multi-dimensional fabric construction layout and efficient,integrated whole city view.From the microscopic point of view, it mainly analyzes thecontemporary architects to explore on high-density building forms. It sums up threetreatment methods: on save land create pattern—resource ecology, create comfortableenvironment—natural ecology, inspire space vitality—human ecology of high-densitybuilding forms. These contents have great referential significance to create high-densityconstruction ecological adaptation.
