The current historic district of the city municipal pipeline infrastructure is obsolete,which is one of the main limitations for the development of the historic district.Meanwhile, in the more mature design theory and urban municipal pipeline workflowintegrated planning has been formed, but, it is difficult to meet the historic district ofthis special section needs. In this paper, for the history of the special nature of landblocks, road width and the status of the pipeline characteristics, proposed for the historicdistrict roads cross section tube-bit vertical design methods and intersection design.Also proposed the idea that establishing the “Digital municipal” in the historic district,combined with Civil3D software. Establishing the foundation of digital informationmodels for historic district could not only protect the integrity of the historic districtwhile it is renovated, but also laying a solid foundation for the future “Digital City”.1.The present situation of the historical block road, surrounding buildings, andunderground pipeline is the basic data of the comprehensive planning or reconstructionfor historical block pipeline. This paper treat the historical block inside and outside thecity wall in Xi ’an as the research object, based on the field survey data, analyzed andsummarized the present situation of the historical block characteristics and existingproblems. These all provide the basic for the rest planning and design of the pipelinecomprehensive.2.As the most basic step of the comprehensive planning and design, the design ofroad cross section pipeline location is also the most important one. It decides the prosand cons of the pipeline location comprehensive design. The design of road crosssection pipeline location in the old district, combine the status characteristics of the old district, model multi-objective of math, and combine the Linprog Function of the matlabto find the optimal solution.3.The vertical optimized design of the pipeline location comprehensive intersectionis the emphasis and difficulty of the pipeline location comprehensive design. This papercount the project cost of the pipeline location as evaluation of the vertical solutions,combine multi-scenario analysis to optimize the different vertical design. We use this todesign the computer program and use matlab to auxiliary. What’s more, the feasibility ofthis method is verified by engineering examples.4.This paper introduces the “digital city” to assist in the block protection andrenovation in this particular area of the city historic blocks, and the Civil3D softwarewas used to build the digital information modeling of the road and the underground pipenetwork in the historical block, collision check and construction simulation, in order toreduce the impact of the construction of infrastructure to the blocks. As the “DigitalMunicipal” depth application in the city construction, the “digital information” of thehistorical block and other city block would be integrate, and it would build the “DigitalMunicipal”.
