| The study object of this thesis is the landscape of urban complex exterior space, therelevant concepts, its development, existing problems and so on. This article attempts toanalyze the unique charm and value of regional culture of Xi’an, explore the meetingpoint of urban complex landscape design and regional culture and then, from theperspective of landscape architecture, find out how to take advantage of regionalcharacteristics to create distinctive landscapes in the design of urban complexes,meanwhile avoiding the homogenization of design. Among them, the case studycombined with Xi’an Tang West Market, it is concluded that, with the regional culturalfeatures of landscape of urban complex external space design strategy, is the researchemphasis in this paper.At present, the study and research of exterior space of urban complexes in Chinamainly focus on areas such as complex development and architecture design whileignoring the cultural environment. Based on a preliminary collection and arrangementof literatures, through an analysis of real cases, this article discusses the relevantproblems in the exterior space design of urban complexes with regional cultural featuresand arrives at some conclusions.First of all, this paper summarizes the research progress of this topic at home andabroad and discusses the related concepts and theoretical systems, which function as abrief introduction. Next, by reference to national conditions and the reality, the statusquo of landscape design of urban complex exterior space is studied and some existingproblems are pointed out, such as a failure to integrate with urban space, a lack of affinity and poverty of regional culture. The causes of the poverty of regional culture areanalyzed and a better understating of urban complex exterior space design is gained.Last, through an investigation of the exterior space of Xi’an Tang West Market inline with theory, design strategies for urban complexes with regional culturalcharacteristics are discussed and a hopeful prospect is envisioned. |
