Therefore, the market needs a kindof electric shock urgently, that is light weight, Low vibration, the large impact forceetc.to meet the requirements of soil compaction in the work environment, it couldreduce the labor intensity of workers and working time to improve the workefficiency of the compacted soils.Modern science and technology is changing rapidly, especially with thedevelopment of Computer Engineering Technology, Virtual prototype technology hasbeen rapid development, In the application of machinery manufacturing industry isbecoming more and more widely in our country, the technology has the advantages oflow cost, short cycle, low risk, a large number of experiments show that work well inthe virtual prototype model can be used for the entity processing.For a long time, people use the numerical analysis method to solve the dynamicequations as theoretical basis for the design of impact compaction. That all based onthe mechanical model of vibration impact rammer. There are many errors to dosimplified in modeling, and the relationship between some parameters is difficult toget a unique solution in theory. the use of Virtual Prototype Technology on impactcompaction system design, if the established model is more close to the actual, the relationship between parameters will more close to the actual situation, This paperapplied the technology to the research and design of new electric impact rammer.This article establish dynamic model of Impact rammer based on the analysisof the working principle of impact rammer, determine the key parameters influencingthe performances of battering ram; In order to improve the precision and efficiency ofdesign, use the Pro/E software to build the3D solid model of impact rammer, Themodel was imported into ADAMS software, By adding the necessary constraints,impact rammer virtual prototype model was established, The HCD80impact rammerkey parameters was imported into the model to verify its correctness. Through thesystem simulation analysis has determined the crank radius r, spring stiffness K, Thetamping machine body m and the ratio of m2tamping feet n, Pre-compression force ofthe spring P and other key parameters on the performance of battering ram impactscope of law and the optimal value. According to the above rules and the optimalrange of values, use a large number of simulation optimization to determine theoptimal set of key parameters, process design, and ultimately produce prototypedesign drawings to guide the impact rammer. The virtual prototype model ofoperation shows that the prototype can be used for processing the physical prototypemanufacturing, which can provide some reference for small electric impact rammerperformance research, manufacturing and processing. A combination of the virtualprototype technology of mechanical design method is also applicable to othersimilar products in the research and design, as well as the mechanical design ofsolving the problem of complex dynamics provides a new feasible ideas.
