With the thoroughly application of computers and related technologyin the design of weapons system, fuse design is gradually to getting rid ofthe traditional design model based on physical experiments, and enteringinto the new design stage that mainly based on the digital simulation. The primarily on the construction of the system and component modellibrary of the virtual prototype of a millimeter-wave fuse is focused, andthe physical prototype of a pulse Doppler millimeter-wave fuse is studied.Which is currently researched as the background, based on it'smathematical model, and modeling with the method of Top–down andstepwise refinement. In the1stlevel, it provides an overall simulation model of the fuse, and reflects the overall performance of the fuse; in the2ndlevel, it providesa component-level virtual prototype model, and reflects the board-levelperformance of the physical prototype, and this model reflects theprocess of the signal flow interaction between the fuse function modules. In the3rdlevel, it provides a professional-grade virtual prototype, corresponding to the simulation model of component-level of thephysical prototype. The input is the circuit diagram of the fusegenerated by the professional software, and the model reflects thedetailed process of the change of internal signals of the fuse. Themodular design concept makes it very easy to modify the parameters ofthe virtual prototype, and the program is easy to transplant and extend, andit is relatively easy to universal.A verification is made of the virtual prototype in model and system level considering of the experimental data of the slow-intersectionsimulation of the physical prototype. Conclusion: the virtual prototype ofthe millimeter-wave fuse can objectively reflects the main performance ofthe physical prototype and the credibility of the simulation meet theneeds of the model development.
