As environmental issues become prominent increasingly, indiscriminate discharge ofwaste automotive air-conditioning refrigerant is gradually banned, replaced by a refrigerantrecycling processing. This paper aimed to design an intelligent refrigerant recyclingequipment, which refrigerant recycling can be achieved with good economic value andenvironmental significance.In this paper, the refrigerant recycling equipment, based on the characteristics ofautomotive air-conditioning refrigerant and refrigerant condensing theory, can filter the oil,non-condensable gas, water and other impurities mixed in, recharge the air-conditioningsystems, and achieve to recovery, recycle, air-conditioning system vacuum and rechargeautomatically. This paper designed the refrigerant recycling equipment both from theoverall structure and the control of the system. Firstly, the use of refrigerant R134aenthalpy diagram to determine the conditions, calculate the performance parameters of thecompressor; basing on system pressure and flow, select and match the parameters ofexpansion valve, check valve, filter drier, heat exchanging oil separator and other parts.Secondly, designed the hardware and software system to achieve the overall controlintelligently, including control chip, power, human-computer interaction, data storage, ADconversion modules, as well as functional circuits and procedures related. Then, designedthe layout and structure of the refrigerant recycling equipment. Finally, established thepreloaded structural model by modeling software UG, assemble and test the prototypes foreach function.The result shows that, the refrigerant recycling equipment can achieve refrigerantrecovery, recycle, and air-conditioning system vacuum and recharge intelligently, with leakdetection by holding pressure and canister recharge features, the performance and accuracymeet the relevant industry standards well.
