With the rapid development of mobile Internet and information technology, intelligenttransportation systems are also developing rapidly, the first intelligent highway intelligenttransportation is the establishment of national highway toll systems. But the urban roadcongestion problem has not been efficiently solved, it is urgent to establish vehicleinformation management system for intelligent transportation-Connected Vehicles, whichis a direction to expand the field of intelligent transportation.Connected Vehicles is integration of the automotive, mobile Internet andcommunication technology and is an important application of Internet of Things in the fieldof intelligent transportation, according to the different actual needs, to monitor staticinformation and operational status of all vehicles and to provide comprehensive real-timeservices. Vehicle networking industry is still in its infancy and growing cycle, technology isnot yet mature, and it is a golden opportunity in the development of vehicle networking forresearch institutions, national and enterprise. Aritcle did the research from the perspectiveof patent on technology development of China’s connected vehicles, has great theoreticalvalue and practical significance. The main contents include the following sections:(1) Through a lot of reading about the connected vehicles technology literature, acomprehensive understanding of current development in the field of vehicle networking,combined vehicle networking technology integration and industrial fusion,using textmining methods method to get the key technologies in the field of connected vehicles, andmaster key developments in the field of vehicle networking technology.(2) Discuss the key technology patents connected vehicles features and networkdevelopment. From Derwent Innovations Index database (DII) and other key technologiesto retrieve the connected vehicles-related patents, with the use of TDAsoftware, analysis onthe development trend of the major key technologies, national R&D and innovation, andpatent quantitative analysis, according to the cited separately identify the frequency of eachcore patented technology.(3) Build and analyze the key technologies patents connected vehicles cooperation network. With the use of patented and patent co-occurrence matrix correlation matrix,drawimportant key technology sector co-occurrence network diagram, focus on comparativeanalysis on R&D strength of the Chinese institutions; UCINET software will visualize thepatent coauthor network of high yielding inventors of the key technologies connectedvehicles, research on importance and influence of yielding inventor; analysis of the keytechnologies of the hand-code co-occurrence network, obtain the research frontier and hotof the connected vehicles field.(4) Compare between China and the world by key technologies of connected vehicles,and analysis on the development of the status qua and development trend of China’sconnected vehicles industry, propose appropriate suggestions for connected vehiclesindustry development trend of the major key technologies.
