Steam turbine is the main energy transforming equipment of thermal and nuclearpower generation, for increase demanding of energy request in China, the design andmanufacture of steam turbine developed a lot, especially the installed capacity of nuclearpower is increased rapidly, and the demand of big size steam turbine is more and more.Rotor is key component of steam turbine, it works under high temperature, high pressureand high speed, and the manufacturing process improves incessantly. The solid rotor isapplied to various type of steam turbines by many steam turbine companies, but for bigsize turbine rotor, large diameter of disc and shaft, installed structure or solid-installedcombined structure is used for rotor. The assembly of disc and shaft is the key process ofwhole manufacture; the disc is required to be heated during assembly. So technician’stechnology, process and assistant equipment is highly required.Through heating disc of installed rotor, the inner hole of disc can expand to a certainvalue, and it is installed to shaft under hot condition and cooled in room temperature tomake disc and shaft combined together according specified dimension, this kind of in-stallation is hot installation assembly. The hot installation procedure is prepared by Har-bin Turbine Company (hereinafter HTC for short) in1950s, for updating product, theproduct manufacturing precision is required higher and higher. The original process cannot satisfy manufacturing requirement, this process is taught by experienced worker toteach the assembly; the original hot installation table on HTC is too simple, it is adjustedby worker by pressing footplate, so the working efficiency is low, operation is complex,and also it is not safe, all these things form bottleneck of hot installation rotor and affectinstallation quality and manufacture schedule. This article develops new hot installationprocess and assembly table aim at above mentioned problem.This article describes simply about rotor hot installation, aim and meaning of hot in-stallation table developing, and analyzes hot installation process and table in internationaland domestic and also analyze the condition of HTC. The main research content of thisarticle is confirmed from hot installation process and hot installation assembly table.This article analyzes the hot installation and present design requirement, based onpresent conditions and future plan, new hot installation process is designed and main pa-rameter and total design plan of two key equipments such as hot installation lifting plate-form and rotary table are confirmed based on hot installation process requirement.From assembly of installed structure, based on taking man as the foundation, focussafety of operation personnel and improve working efficiency to complete theory analy-sis of design and key technology of lifting table. According to requirement of product design, assembly requirement, and the rotaryplatform is researched according to vertical assembly, and main structure, driving struc-ture and clamping structure are detailed designed, and the key partsmodal analysis workis finished.Finally, it describes installation and debugging method and installation process ofhot installation platform to confirm key parameter test module of hot installation process.Through test, key parameter is modified, and it provides parameter support for installedrotor assembly process smoothly.
