Flushing sluice spillway construction project is as a subsystem, it plays a crucial role inhydroelectric power projects construction. With the operation of the hydropower station,flushing sluice spillway design is reasonable Station will be affected the normal operation ofone of the main factors, it will directly affect the performance of hawthorn station machine,the security station run, the economy and the risks to be borne by key issues,etc. Therefore, itis imperative that we conduct an in-depth research on Engineering practice. As to waterintakes, it is very important in the entire water control project. Its size and scale directlydetermine the size of generating capacity, the normal operation of water intakes determinesthe safe operation of equipment, so the quality of design and construction of a scale suitablefor power plant water mouth is very important.Based on the study of Baojia dam flushing sluice spillway and power plant water intakes,according to the basic information provided by engineering units, the hydraulic model wasestablished in the laboratory. Through the model test, a preliminary study of dischargecapacity, pressure distribution of power plant water intake, and other aspects was carried out,then a reasonable estimation and economic changes were made in accordance with the actualsituation.The hydraulic model experiment was conducted on the amendment project to checkwhether the amendment can meet the construction phase of construction diversionrequirements or not, and at last the final package was provided.The results of this test show we that The original proposal due to the clearly inadequateof flushing sluice spillway discharge capacity, and the bottom elevation (953.00m) is lower,and the elevation of the domnstream river bed about955.00m,it directly affects theeffectiveness of the sand. Hence the need for adequate elevation flushing sluice spillway floorelevation, so the original project must be revised as soon as quickly. Through the model testsof proposed amendments and data analysis, the results show that flushing sluice spillwaydischarge capacity to meet the design requirements, and also have greater ability to super-vent.the pressure distribution of flushing sluice spillway backplane and power plant water intakeare positive, in line with regulatory requirements; In a variety of flow conditions, the flowscour the river bed is not large, the biggest is the check flood, erosion depth as to5.90m, andtend to scour the river bed, and it also can not threaten the basis of the lower reaches and the downstream cofferdam. Therefore, the amendment project is fully able to meet therequirements of the design. It can be identified as the final stage.
