Design And Implementation Of Financial Management For Domestic Container Shipping

The container transport has been internationally developed since the1970s，andit was a new mode of transportation over the past two decades in China. The containertransport has the most competitive advantages over the traditional bulk industry as thequickness, convenience, safety, efficiency, low price. As the upgradation of thetransportation industry, the related financial management of the industrial technologyshould be improved. The traditional calculation mode can no longer fit in with therequirement of the new one. The traditional transport objects more single accounting,container transport, however, is facing a huge customer base, delivery of goods,freight settlement to a single container unit, which increase times of workload. In sucha huge accounting workload, the real problem placed in front of the business is how toimprove the work efficiency of the financial staff, how to improve settlementefficiency, and how to ensure the correctness of accounts receivable and payable. Thisissue there has no off-the-shelf stuff to apply directly. Freight forwarders, shippingcompanies, as well as the related logistics enterprises display their respective abilities,they get self-developed methods or hire experts to put into the study of themanagement of information technology, but suffering from the complexity of thecontainer transport system，there is no core department or people to connect theexperts who are only on their own areas, as the people can not expertise on bothaccounting and computer. Thus how to unite them with the means of information, ishere in study. This paper intends to discuss how the joint of the business, financial andcomputer to solve the problem of data accuracy and to play a good effect onaccounting efficiently through the use of computer technology in the module dockingcontainer transportation business processes and financial management system. Theresults of this study can not only be applied to the domestic container shippingcompany, but also be applied to foreign trade container transportation and otherfreight areas.
