Fellowing with the rapid growth of urbanization and the rapid development ofmotorization, the urban traffic problem becomes more and more prominent. A lot ofprojects which are lack of a comprehensive demonstration in many cities, began toconstruction, not only aggravated the tense situation of urban traffic, but also lefthidden trouble for the future development of urban traffic. Currently, as people havethe interesting to go to the nearest HOPSCA for shopping, therefore, the HOPSCA hasthe opportunity to development. So it is important to start the research on trafficimpact evaluation of HOPSCA.1. On the basis of System theory, combing with the traffic impact characteristicsof HOPSCA, this paper gives the corresponding traffic impact evaluation methodsand processes, meanwhile, this paper defines the impact scope of HOPSCA. Startingwith the characteristics of HOPSCA, this paper makes the study of traffic flowcharacteristics of HOPSCA, project characteristics, the relationship between theproject and the surrounding.2. Based on the traffic impact evaluation method, this paper predicts the trafficflow, and uses the four phases model to predict the traffic flow, by using the WOT、NWOT and, NWT, this paper accurately predict the project traffic impact scope, andby using the software of TransCAD, this paper makes the research on the trafficimpact evaluation on AEON west HOPSCA in Xiqing District.3. Based on the theoretical research, this paper use the traffic impact evaluationmethods to processes the case of AEON west HOPSCA in Xiqing District, from theproject basic situation, the research showes that it is useful to guide the practice of theproject.
