Landscape Optimization Studies On The Attached Space Of City Viaducts

Viaduct traffic is one of the new avenue of transportation, which was created with thedevelopment and reform of modern city, it is the inevitable result of the three-dimensionaldeveloping of urban space. Objectively speaking, the large number built of viaducts is aneffective way to ease urban traffic pressure in a relatively short period, and promoted urbandevelopment. And to some extent, the development of viaduct traffic has become an embodimentfor urban economic strength, and the level of modernization. However, the viaduct traffic hasalso brought negative effects on urban space and ecological environment that cannot be ignored,and at the same time, there are also many problems and conflicts on the functional use, landscapeconstruction and maintenance management of the attached space of city viaducts. Based on thisbackground, this thesis expounds the principles and strategies of landscape optimization in viewof the present situation and problems, and the negative effects about viaduct space landscapeconstruction. Finally, demonstrate the theory study through the practical cases of interpretationand project optimization strategy.The first chapter brings forward questions, defines the category of research, elucidates thesignificance of it and construct basic framework for the research. The second chapter, through theanalysis of landscape types，characteristics and influencing factors about the attached space ofcity viaduct, expounds the theoretical cognitive of the attached space landscape of viaduct. Thethird chapter through the investigation and analysis about specific examples of the attached spacelandscape of viaduct in urban area of Nanjing, and summarizes the current problems of viaductspace landscape construction in Nanjing, so that the results can provide empirical basis for thestrategy of landscape optimization’s proposal. The fourth chapter, on the premise of analysis ofthe contradictions, challenges and potentials confronting landscape optimization of viaduct,put forward the basic principle of landscape optimization, and then state corresponding strategyfor different types of he attached space landscape of viaduct. The fifth chapter comes up with theanalysis and interpretation of practical cases, with combination of theory and practice, thepractical results demonstrate theoretical cognition. The last chapter summarizes the researchresults and then introspects on the development process of the attached space landscape ofviaduct and gives a brief discuss on further research direction and future prospect.
