Pedestrian Street has its leisure and cultural features. There are so manydomestic pedestrian streets, however, with the growth of country’s economicconstruction and the demand of both spiritual and cultural, the consideration ofdesign is more and more focused on how to promote business faster and quicker. Asa result, casual cultural landscape has been ignored in the pedestrian street. The verybasic problem is the designer does not depart from the perspective ofpeople-oriented, so that they do not understand what human beings are expectedfrom pedestrian streets, the whole environment of Pedestrian Street is too simple andwill lack recreation and nature culture.With careful theoretical analysis, practical inspection and case comparativeanalysis, the Pedestrian Street has been in-depth explored in this paper. The contentof this paper focus on the space features of Pedestrian Street from both macro andmicro perspective, such as flower bowl, sculpture and so on. The specificcomponents of the paper including: basic theoretical concepts, leisure and culturallandscape properties of the pedestrian street, theory and elements of pedestrian streetand comparison between foreign and domestic pedestrian street.This paper not only attempts to summarize the ways of how to design leisurePedestrian Street, but also provide a reference for the future design. |
